Fitchburg Federal Credit Union donates
$2,200 to Children’s Hospital
KIDS AT HEART - Barbara L. Goodwin, president and CEO of Fitchburg Federal Credit Union with Maggie King, a patient of Children’s Hospital Boston. The Credit Union raised $2,200 throughout the year for the Kids at Heart program sponsored by the Credit Unions of Massachusetts in support of the hospital. 

FITCHBURG, MASSACHUSETTS,
August 7, 2008 … Fitchburg Federal Credit Union recently donated $2,200 to benefit Children’s Hospital Boston. The money was raised throughout the year as part of the Kids at Heart program of the Credit Unions of Massachusetts, which supports the work of the hospital.

Barbara Goodwin, president and CEO, presented the Credit Union’s check at a recent golf tournament at the Red Tail Golf Club at Devens sponsored by EasCorp, a corporate credit union that provides financial services to its member institutions.

Children’s Hospital Patient Partner Maggie King took time out from helping at the lemonade stand to join Goodwin for a photo session at the tournament.

Fitchburg Federal Credit Union membership is open to employees and retirees of the City of Fitchburg, Fitchburg State College, Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg Housing Authority, and LUK, Inc., and their family members.

Membership is also open to students of Fitchburg Public Schools and their family members and to members of the Friends of Fitchburg Public Library and the Friends of Coggshall Park and their family members.

Fitchburg Federal Credit Union, founded in 1957, is located at 65 North Street in Fitchburg, with a Student Branch at Fitchburg High School and online banking services. Deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).
